De Krekos Bros. Shows, the circa 1920s poster advertising the Alabama Quartette minstrel show, and featuring a great image of a group of actors and actresses in costume! We searched the Internet for information about this show, but we found very little information. We found a information that dated this show to around 1925, and we suspect this poster may be from the mid 1920s (although it has a style that is similar to minstrel posters from the 1890s on). If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster was never folded. It had tears and areas of paper loss in the borders, very slightly entering the blue border or the background of the image in a few areas. The image area was in nice condition prior to linenbacking. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well!
