Green England biographical political melodrama ("Based on the play by Louis N. Parker"; nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award; a re-make of George Arliss' silent movie of the same name from 1921; this was a biography of the famous English Prime Minister Benjamin Disraeli, who was the only English Prime Minister of Jewish birth, although he converted at age 12, and the movie revolves around his efforts to make sure England owned the Suez Canal) starring George Arliss (winner of the Best Actor Academy Award for this film; reprising the same title role of Benjamin Disraeli that he played in the 1921 silent version of this movie), Joan Bennett, Florence Arliss, Anthony Bushell, David Torrence, and Doris Lloyd NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and minor fold and border wear. Overall, the poster was in very good to fine condition prior to linenbacking.
