They were early players in the punk movement in England and inspired many later musicians. While their initial career lasted only a few years, they are often regarded as one of the most influential bands in the history of modem music. The band was originally Johnny Rotten, Steve Jones, Paul Cook, and Glen Matlock. Matlock was replaced by Sid Vicious in 1977. The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2006 but refused to attend the ceremony, calling the museum "a p**s stain". Artist: Jamie Reid Important Added Info: Note that this is a commercial poster (likely from the late 1970s), and not an original 1977 music poster. Condition: good to very good. There are some edge defects and some slight staining at left. It is otherwise in generally nice condition. Learn More about condition grades
