An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) A Fallen Idol, the 1919 Kenean Buel silent Hawaii/California interracial romance romantic love triangle melodrama ("Story by E. Lloyd Sheldon"; a wild story of a Hawaiian Princess who falls in love with a California man, but his mother refuses to let her son be involved in an "interracial" romance, so she gets involved with a guy back in Hawaii, but her boyfriend follows her and they end up together) starring Evelyn Nesbit, Lillian Lawrence, Sidney Mason, Lyster Chambers, and Harry Semels. Note of course, that Evelyn Nesbit was the woman at the center of the murder of architect Stanford White (her husband murdered White, who Nesbit was having an affair with, and because his family was rich and powerful, he was put in a mental institution for a short while and released). After the murder, and the huge publicity it received, Nesbit dropped her husband's name and made a series of movies, and most of them were like this one where she played a fallen woman of one sort or another! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: very good. There are two stamps in the lower left (see our image). There are some creases and stains in the borders. Otherwise, the card is in pretty nice condition! Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
