Shocking!"; "The screen ignites with shock-waves of drama! The emotions you see will leave you breathless that this motion picture could ever be made!"; "A motion picture without a safety valve!"; "Since this is strictly adult entertainment we have been asked not to admit children under 16"; about a black Frenchman whose brother is lynched by whites, and he romances a beautiful white girl with the intention of killing her to get revenge, but then he falls in love with her) starring Christian Marquand, Antonella Lualdi, Fernand Ledoux, Daniel Cauchy, Renate Ewert, Marina Petrowa, Andre Versini, Paul Guers, and Jean Sorel. Note that there is a 1978 movie called "I Spit On Your Grave", which was a low-budget horror thriller. This has caused much confusion with this early melodrama about interracial love, but note that this 1963 "I Spit On Your Grave" has no connection to the 1978 movie! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this window card was never folded. Often window cards would be folded across the middle, because that would make them 11" x 14", and they could then be sent with standard folded posters. Most collectors put an added value on a window card that has never been folded. Also note that this card is made by the Benton Card Company which is a different company than the one that printed most of the window cards at that time. The Benton Card Company made mostly two-color window cards that used blown up newspaper ads. They sold their window cards cheaper than the regular ones, so many theaters used them. In the 1970s, someone bought the company and made reprints of earlier titles, but those are clearly marked. The window card offered here is from the original release of this movie! Condition: good to very good. There is staining in the top and around the edges, but it has little effect on the image. Learn More about condition grades
