An Original Vintage Theatrical 10 3/4" x 13 3/4" [27 x 35 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) A Tailor Made Man, the 1922 Joseph De Grasse working man mistaken identity silent romantic comedy ("By Harry James Smith"; "As produced by Cohan and Harris in the United States of America"; about a poor man who works in a tailor shop and he "borrows" expensive clothes and wears them to a fancy party, which gets him noticed by a rich man who gives him a great job, and the attentions of a beautiful rich woman, but he has a girlfriend back at the tailor shop) starring Charles Ray, Tom Ricketts, Ethel Grandin, Victor Potel, and Stanton Heck. Note that the entire plot of this movie was "borrowed" by the 1987 Michael J. Fox movie "The Secret of My Succe$s"! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this candid still shows the audience outside the Mason Opera House for the premiere of this movie, which was a great converted movie theater in downtown Los Angeles (sadly, it was torn down in 1956). Also note that this still measures 10 3/4" x 13 3/4" [27 x 35 cm], and that it was hand signed by the photographer, J.C. Milligan. Condition: very good. There is a tear in the top right corner that has a piece of tape on the back. The bottom left corner was separated and re-attached with tape from the back. There is a 1/2" tear in the center of the top border (repaired with tape from the back) and another in the right of the bottom border (not repaired). Learn More about condition grades
