2 Original Vintage Lobby Cards (Measures 11" x 14") (Learn More)

Night and Day (released in the U.S. in 1933 as "Jack's The Boy"), the 1932 Walter Forde English musical romantic love triangle detective mystery crime comedy ("You'll laugh your head off!!"; "Britain's funniest musical sensation!"; "London's happiest policeman!"; "Screen's funniest picture!"; "Start laughing now!"; about the son of a Scotland Yard investigator who is given the chance to help solve a crime, and in doing so, he sends a crook to jail, who is his rival for his girl's affections) starring Jack Hulbert ("The Sunshine Susie Comedian", he played "London's happiest policeman"), Cicely Courtneidge, Charles Farrell, Ben Field, Peter Gawthorne, Francis Lister, and Francis Lister. Note that the IMDb states that this movie was released in the U.S. as "Night and Day", and that its title was "Jack's the Boy" in England, but we think that they have that information switched. If anyone knows for certain, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Important Added Info: Note that these are two hand-colored cards. In the days of silent film prior to the invention of good quality full-color printing, studios would have lobby cards printed in black and white and then amazingly would hire women to hand-color the cards one at a time (apparently labor was very cheap at the time)! So, each card is colored slightly differently, and the coloring is never a perfect match.

Condition: very good to fine. Both cards have two tack holes in the top center edge of the image.
