An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Insert Movie Poster (measures 14" x 36" [36 x 91 cm]) (Learn More) J.M. Barrie's Quality Street (released in Spain as "Olivia"), the 1937 George Stevens romantic mistaken identity extreme makeover comedy ("Together Triumphant!"; from the play by Sir James M. Barrie; set in the early 1800s, an Englishwoman's boyfriend goes off to war, and when he returns ten years later, he is turned off by her aged appearance; she performs an extreme makeover, and is so successful that he doesn't recognize her, so she pretends to be her own niece, and he starts to fall in love with her, but ends up telling her that he actually loves her "aunt", and of course, everything works out in the end) starring Katharine Hepburn, Franchot Tone, Eric Blore, Cora Witherspoon, Fay Bainter, Estelle Winwood, Helena Grant, Florence Lake, and Joan Fontaine (in an early uncredited role, having just been signed by RKO to a long term contract). Note that this movie is a remake of the 1927 movie of the same title with Marion Davies in the lead role. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster. We have never auctioned one in all our years of auctioning! Note also that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good to very good. The poster has an extra horizontal crease above the upper horizontal fold and lower horizontal fold (see our image). There is small separation in the right edge of the upper horizontal fold and some small border tears that are backed by conservation tape. Overall the rare poster is in generally nice condition, and despite the few defects it does display pretty well (but certainly after some proper restoration the poster would look fantastic)!
