Bad Girl, the 1931 Frank Borzage (winner of the Best Director Academy Award for this movie) romantic poor-girl-wants-to-change-her-life courtship wedding melodrama ("From Vina Delmar's sensational novel"; nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award; a complicated story of a very poor girl who wants to stop being a "bad girl", and she finds a decent guy, but he doesn't want to get married, and she ends up pregnant, and he starts boxing to get some money for her, but she thinks he is getting in fights and wants no part of him, and almost loses the baby!) starring James Dunn, Sally Eilers, Minna Gombell, Frank Austin, and Irving Bacon

Condition: good to very good. The title card has water staining at top center and some paper loss in the blank borders. There is a small water stain in the lower right blank border and smudges in parts of several borders. The scene directly below the title card in our image has similar defects, as does the one to the right of the title card, which has a circular tear in the right of the top border that was repaired with tape from the back. The card with Eilers hugging Dunn to her chest has three tears in the borders (2", 3" and 5") that were repaired with tape from the back, and some water stains around the edges. The other four cards have pinholes in the corners and smudges around the edges. See our images to get a sense of the condition of each card.
