A Vintage Paperback Book (measures 4 1/4" x 7" [11 x 18 cm]; 192 pages) (Learn More) They Move With the Sun, the 1961 Daniel Taylor nurse doctor romantic sexploitation novel ("How far can a doctor let himself go?"; "Three women desired him..."). Note that this book is a re-titled version of the 1948 novel, "They Move With the Sun". Artist: Jo Polsino Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this paperback book! Note that this is one of a collection of 32 sexploitation paperback books from the 1950s and 1960s from a new collection we were recently consigned (see below for more), and are auctioning in 32 separate auctions. These are from the repressed 1950s and 1960s, from the days when "respectable" people had few outlets for non-traditional sexual desires, and these "sleaze" paperbacks covered those subjects in depth! They always had lurid covers, and they were often sold "under the counter" (where you had to ask for them). The sexual revolution of the late 1960s made these books pretty irrelevant, but they are a fascinating reminder of repressed sexual attitudes of the 1960s! In 2018, we were consigned a collection of around 300 of these books, and we auctioned them from then until 2021. Now we have been consigned a new collection that we will be auctioning every four weeks, with around 30 in each auction. There is only one of each title, so if you don't purchase a specific book, don't expect to see it again, because there is not another example of it in this collection! Condition: very good.
