Date Sold 1/19/2017 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. 6 Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Cards (LCs; measure 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) The Cowboy and The Lady, the 1922 Charles Maigne silent western dude ranch romantic love triangle melodrama ("From the play by -- Clyde Fitch"; a complicated story of a woman who runs a ranch and has a husband who cheats on her, and she falls for a cowboy who shows up) starring Mary Miles Minter, Tom Moore, Viora Daniel, Patricia Palmer, Robert Schable, and Guy Oliver. Note that this movie was made AFTER William Desmond Taylor (the 49 year-old director who was having an affair with the 19 year-old Minter) was killed, supposedly by either Minter or her mother. Soon after this movie was made, Minter retired from movies! Also, note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: good to very good. Four of the cards are in pretty nice condition. As can be seen in our image, two have substantially darkened and have become somewhat brittle. One has a large tear with complete separation at lower right and the other has complete separation along approximately 2" of the right edge.
