An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More)

All My Sons, the 1948 Irving Reis post World War II (WWII) dysfunctional family crime melodrama ("New York Critics' Award Play... Now a prize motion picture"; "Only the screen could make it greater!"; "New York's Critic's Award Play becomes the screen's prize motion picture!"; "From the play by Arthur Miller"; about a son who discovers his father cut corners in his business during World War II and cost the lives of many Americans) starring Edward G. Robinson (reprising his Broadway role), Burt Lancaster, Mady Christians, Howard Duff, Louisa Horton, Frank Conroy, Arlene Francis, Lloyd Gough, and Harry Morgan. Normally, I am willing to "suspend disbelief" when it comes to casting very different people as close relations, but it struck me as REALLY odd that big tough Burt Lancaster was cast as the son of small Edward G. Robinson!

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.

Condition: fair. The poster has been glued to a piece of paper. Prior to being glued to the piece of paper, it had paper loss at upper left and in the crossfolds and smaller areas of paper loss around the edges. The person who elected to glue the poster to the paper apparently did no restoration to most if not all of the defects, and any "restoration" done was certainly not done well. The poster could be removed from the paper by a restorer and further restoration could be performed, but it might be fairly expensive to have this done, so bear that in mind before you place a bid.
