Condemned, the 1929 Wesley Ruggles South America romantic love triangle escape-from-Devil's-Island prison crime melodrama ("All talking"; based on the novel by Blair Niles; about a bank robber on Devil's Island who gains the trust of the warden and falls in love with the warden's beautiful wife, and when she returns to France, he escapes so he can be with her) starring Ronald Colman (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Ann Harding, Louis Wolheim, Dudley Digges, and William Elmer

Important Added Info: This window card was never folded. Often window cards would be folded across the middle, because that would make them 11" x 14", and they could then be sent with standard folded posters. Most collectors put an added value on a window card that has never been folded.

Condition: fair. The card was partially folded down the center and there is surface paper loss down that line. There is a 5" tear in the upper left border and a 3" tear in the lower right border. There are nail holes in the corners and paper loss in the bottom left corner. There is water staining scattered throughout the card. The card has very real defects, but certainly, a talented restorer could paperback the card, and after proper restoration, it will look great, although it might require fairly extensive restoration.
