Duty Calls, the 1917 U.S. World War I (WWI) poster featuring art of an American soldier saying goodbye to his sweetheart and his dog while soldiers march in the background. Note that the poster is dated 1917 and has a Chicago printing company in the bottom left. We don't know for what purpose this poster was created or how it was sold or given away. It certainly may have been displayed in a recruiting office. If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
