An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

Why Girls Leave Home, the 1921 William Nigh bad teens silent romantic melodrama ("Adapted from the popular stage success with an all star cast"; about a daughter of very strict parents who runs away from home and gets in all kinds of trouble, but everything works out in the end!) starring Anna Q. Nilsson, Maurine Powers, Julia Swayne Gordon, and Corinne Barker. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.

Important Added Info: Note that this may not be a title card, because we have seen a scene card that has a layout a lot like this does. If anyone knows for certain if this is a title card or scene card, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Also note that there is a stamp on the back that reads "FROM THE COLLECTION OF Michael R. Hawks", who most would consider the premier lobby card collector and expert in the world (and he is still an active collector, looking for the last few items he needs!). Finally, note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: very good. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back (but there are the remnants of some newspaper clippings that were glued to the back of the card, and they do not affect the front)!
