Bruce Humberstone crime film noir murder mystery thriller ("Three of the hottest names in Hollywood... In a picture that makes the screen sizzle!"; "From the novel 'I Wake Up Screaming' by Steve Fisher"; about a model who is murdered, and the police inspector is sure the sports promoter who helped her get started killed her because she was leaving him, but the model's sister helps solve the murder) starring Betty Grable (in a rare non-musical dramatic role!), Victor Mature, Carole Landis, Laird Cregar, William Gargan, Alan Mowbray, Allyn Joslyn, Elisha Cook Jr., Ralph Dunn, and Dick Rich NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that these stills of Betty Grable have a wonderful provenance! They were consigned to us by the granddaughter of the lady who ran the Betty Grable fan club in the 1950s, and she developed a close friendship with Ms. Grable, and she was given a large number of first release stills (some personally autographed), and we are auctioning several of this consignor's sets of Betty Grable stills in this set of auctions. None of these are signed, because we will auction the signed ones in our auction of all autographed items. Condition: good to very good. One or more of the stills has been trimmed. The trimming can either be seen in our super-sized image, or if not, then please see our measurement range above to get a sense of the amount of trimming (in some cases the trimming is very minimal and the stills measure very close to 8" x 10", and in those cases there will not be a range of measurements).
