Pakula (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film) Washington Post political scandal newspaper journalism melodrama ("The most devastating detective story of this century."; "At times it looked like it might cost them their jobs, their reputations, and maybe even their lives."; "Based on the book by Carl Bernstein and Bob Woodward"; Screenplay by William Goldman"; nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award; "; about the exposure of the Watergate scandal) starring Robert Redford (as Bob Woodward), Dustin Hoffman (as Carl Bernstein), Jack Warden, Martin Balsam, Hal Holbrook (as Deep Throat!), Jason Robards Jr. (winner of the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film; "as Ben Bradlee"), Jane Alexander (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), Meredith Baxter, Ned Beatty, and F. Important Added Info: Note that these stills appear in every way to be original U.S. release EXCEPT that there is one very tiny line of French type in the lower right of each still. It reads, "IMPRIME AUX ETATS-UNIS D'AMERIQUE". A collector has told us that he believes this means the stills were used in French speaking parts of Canada, but they were printed in the U.S., and that makes complete sense to us! So they are original stills from 1976, but they were printed for use in parts of Canada. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Condition: very good. Two of the stills have faded unevenly (from being displayed in a frame), but are otherwise in nice condition. The other four stills are in quite nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
