Whose every command he obeyed with pleasure!"; "From a play by Lajos Biro and Melchior Lengyel"; about a young man in the court of a mythical European country; he saves the life of the queen, and is rewarded with marrying her, but when she is unfaithful to him, he leads a revolution to depose her, but ultimately, the queen puts down the revolution and spares her husband's life and lets him be with his true love) starring Tallulah Bankhead (as Catherine the Great), Charles Coburn, Anne Baxter, William Eythe, Vincent Price, Mischa Auer, Sig Ruman, Valdimir Sokoloff, and Mikhail Rasumny. Note that this movie was a remake of the 1924 movie "Forbidden Paradise", which had been directed by Ernst Lubitsch.
