Date Sold 9/15/2020 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. 2 Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed Movie Lobby Cards (LCs; measure (measure from 10" x 12" [25 x 30 cm] to 10" x 12 1/2" [25 x 32 cm])) (Learn More) You Can't Fool Your Wife, the 1923 George Melford silent romantic love triangle melodrama (from the story by Waldemar Young; about a rich man who visits a doctor with his wife, and the rich man has an affair with the doctor's wife, and then he is divorced, and his ex-wife becomes the doctor's nurse, without the doctor realizing the woman is the ex-wife of the man who stole his wife; later, the rich man is injured, and taken to the doctor to be operated on, and at first, he refuses because of his anger at the man, but when he learns that his nurse is the man's ex-wife, he goes ahead and saves him and oddly, both couples end up reunited with their former spouses) starring Leatrice Joy, Nita Naldi, Lewis Stone, Pauline Garon, and Paul McAllister. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that these lobby cards have been personally autographed (signed) by Leatrice Joy! Also note that these lobby cards have been trimmed and they now measure from 10" x 12" [25 x 30 cm] to 10" x 12 1/2" [25 x 32 cm]. Condition: fair to good. The cards were likely part of a larger display as they both have been trimmed along the blank borders and they both have much glue on the back that slightly affects the front (see our image).
