Searle Dawley silent black African American melodrama ("'Dey done went to roost on my fishing pole'"; based on the Harriet Beecher Stowe novel) starring Marguerite Clark (in a dual role as Topsy and Eva), Sam Hardy (as Simon Legree), Jack W. Johnston, Florence Carpenter, and Frank Losee (in the title role as Uncle Tom). Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.
