Feist musical comedy ("Hot Sweet Solid!"; "100 scandal-lovelies"; "Those carefree scandals girls...") starring Joan Davis, Jack Haley, Phillip Terry, Martha Holliday, Glenn Tryon (in the title role as George White), Jane Greer (billed under her birth name of "Bettejane Greer"), Gene Krupa (billed as "Gene Krupa His Drums and His Band"), Ethel Smith ("Hit Parade's Swing Organist") and Margaret Hamilton. Note that George White was a former vaudeville dancing performer who became a major Broadway producer in the late 1910s. He began producing an annual "George White's Scandals" on Broadway, and in 1934 and 1935, movie versions were created of the Broadway productions. In 1945, this movie was created as a tribute to George White, and his material was used, but it was not performed by the original performers, although the movie did include some archive footage from earlier actual productions of "George White's Scandals". Also note that this three-sheet was printed in 2 sections designed to overlap. Condition: fair to good. There are some light yellow stains scattered in the small section. There is some darkening on the back of the part of the poster that was on the outside when it was fully folded. There are some creases and several tears along the folds that were on the outside when the poster was fully folded. There are some creases, smudges, and tiny tears on some folds, and some tiny paper loss at some crossfolds. There are many tiny staple holes around the edges. Learn More about condition grades
