An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Style A One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Poker Widows, the 1931 Leslie Pearce gambling slapstick marriage comedy short ("Mack Sennett Comedies"; about a married dance instructor whose buddies play poker, which leaves their wives at home all alone, and he decides to romance one of them while her husband is playing poker) starring Patsy O'Leary, Arthur Stone, Wade Boteler, Gertrude Astor, and Lincoln Stedman NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster is extremely rare. It is the only poster of any kind that we have ever auctioned from this movie! Given that this was a comedy short, it is likely that next to no theaters ordered posters for it (and the studio likely only made a one sheet and a set of four lobby cards). Condition: good to very good. The poster has tiny paper loss at the bottom crossfold and tiny separation at the top crossfold. It has 3" of separation, with a 1 1/2" tear below that, in the top center of the poster. It has 3" of separation in the left of the bottom horizontal fold. It has pinholes in the corners. It has small tears, darkening, and tiny paper loss scattered down the left blank border, with minor wear in the rest of the borders and on the folds. After a relatively simple linenbacking, the poster will look great, or certainly, it could be displayed as it is (see our super-sized image). Learn More about condition grades
