Pagan splendors!..."; "Love-Sacrifice to a Heathen Man-God!"; "Scores of gorgeous aqua-cuties... slaves to a villainous idol's will!"; "Original story and screen play by Carroll Young"; "Based upon the characters created by Edgar Rice Burroughs") starring Johnny Weissmuller (in the title role as Tarzan), Brenda Joyce (as Jane), Linda Christian (billed as "introducing Linda Christian"), George Zucco, and Andrea Palma. Note that Maureen O'Sullivan tired of playing Jane in the Tarzan movies, and in 1943, two Tarzan movies were made with no Jane at all, and in 1945, she was replaced by Brenda Joyce, who played the role in five movies. The poster had small paper loss at the crossfolds and some small paper loss in the vertical fold between the middle and bottom crossfolds, and a few tiny bits of paper loss on the other folds. It had pinholes around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well! Note that either the restorer who mounted the poster did not leave any excess linen around the edges of the poster, or possibly the owner of the poster chose to carefully trim off the excess, so that the poster would fit in a frame.
