Selznick who made 'Gone With the Wind'"; winner of the Best Picture Academy Award; about a young woman who marries a rich and powerful widower after a short romance, and she feels she is in constant competition with her husband's dead wife, or is she?) starring Laurence Olivier (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film; "Hero of Wuthering Heights"), Joan Fontaine (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film; "in her sensational starring debut"), George Sanders, Judith Anderson (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), Gladys Cooper, Nigel Bruce, Reginald Denny, C. Aubrey Smith, and Florence Bates NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: R. Geleng Important Added Info: Note that this poster has been trimmed and it now measures 38" x 53 3/4". Condition: fair to good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and many creases, scuffs, tiny tears, and tiny paper loss on parts of most foldlines (more so in the left half of the top foldline), and some small tears and tiny areas of paper loss in the borders. Overall, the poster was in fair to good condition prior to linenbacking. Unfortunately, this poster was backed onto an extremely thin linen, and at some point after linenbacking, the poster was roughly handled and there are now some added creases scattered through the poster (in both the thin linen and the poster itself). If I owned this cool poster, I would certainly immediately have it removed from the thin linen, and after proper linenbacking and restoration, the poster will look nice, but it would require a fair amount of paint restoration Learn More about condition grades
