An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Coogan's Bluff, the 1968 Don Siegel New York City police crime melodrama ("Clint Eastwood gives New York 24 hours... to get out of town!"; "A man with no fear takes on a killer with no pity in a city with no heart!"; "Story by Herman Miller"; about a western cop in New York City) starring Clint Eastwood (in the title role as Coogan), Susan Clark, Don Stroud, Tisha Sterling, Betty Field, Lee J. Cobb, and Melodie Johnson. Note that the character that Eastwood plays in this movie bears a lot of resemblance to his later Dirty Harry, and that this movie was the inspiration for the TV series "McCloud"! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair. The poster had a rating snipe glued to the top right corner. It had writing on the back of the top center that bled through to the front. It had small paper loss at the crossfolds and many tears, tape stains, and areas of paper loss on the folds. The rating box at lower right had been blacked out. Overall, the poster was in fair condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was not well restored, and the rating snipe was left on, and you can clearly see signs of the defects and the restoration (see our image). Learn More about condition grades
