An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14") (Learn More) Outlaw Rule, the 1935 S. Roy Luby cowboy western ("a western action thriller!") starring Reb Russell, Rebel (billed as "The Marvel Horse"), Al Bridge, Betty Mack, Yakima Canutt, John McGuire, Jack Kirk, and Jack Rockwell. Note that star Reb Russell had been an All-American running back and fullback in football for both Nebraska and Northwestern, and when he graduated in 1930, he received a few small parts at Fox Films, but did not show much promise, but in 1934, he signed a contract with Willis Kent, an independent producer, and he starred in nine low budget westerns in 1934 and 1935. But he was not the best actor, and the movies were very low budget, and he left Hollywood to tour with circuses for the rest of the 1930s, and then he retired back to Coffeyville, Kansas, where he had grown up, and he raised a family and bred livestock, passing away in 1978!
