In addition to it being a rare horizontal Italian one-panel poster (see below), it also does not bill Kirk Douglas or Michael Redgrave, the top two stars! Ordinarily, you would think it is half of a two-panel poster, but it has wide borders all around, and we have seen the two-panel poster, and this is not it. It has the image from the lower half of the one-panel poster, which is even more odd! If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. This horizontal poster measures the same as the vertical oriented images, but has a horizontal orientation, much like a British quad. In the first few years after World War II, Italian posters were not always standard, and some had unusual sizes, or as in the case of this poster, a different orientation. By the early 1950s, the standard Italian sizes had evolved, and you rarely ever saw a non-standard size poster. Condition: fair. Learn More about condition grades
