Horman and Rolland Gillett"; it starts in the 1930s with a group of mail pilots and one of them has a gold digging girlfriend who comes between the two best friends, and later, they end up enlisting in the Royal Canadian Air Force at the start of World War II, but they are not allowed to fly fighter planes due to their age, and they become pilot instructors, but the lead among them gets into all kinds of trouble, and ends up nobly giving his life to save many others) starring James Cagney, Dennis Morgan, Brenda Marshall, Alan Hale Sr., George Tobias, Hardie Albright, Reginald Gardiner, and Reginald Denny NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had creases, small tears, and fine surface paper loss along parts of many folds, with some partial extra folds, including one running through Cagney's chin. It had pinholes, stains, and tears around the edges, with a few scattered within the image and a small tape stain in the crashed plane at middle left. Overall, the poster was in fair to good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can clearly see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects, and most of the border areas were painted over.
