Note that many people consider this to be virtually a "perfect" western, and it is surely one of the best John Wayne movies there is! Also note that in 1967, Howard Hawks and John Wayne virtually remade this movie as "El Dorado", with Robert Mitchum and James Caan replacing Dean Martin and Ricky Nelson, but that movie pales in comparison to this one. There are tape stains in the border at lower left and right and there are creases and smudges scattered throughout the poster. There is some pencil writing on the back of the poster in the lower left corner but it does not appear to have any effect on the front. There is small paper loss at the bottom crossfold and there is some tattering and light staining in the borders around the edges of the poster. Fortunately, the poster's defects are mostly in background and border areas and after linenbacking the poster will surely display quite nicely with little paint restoration needed!
