An Undated (probably 1950s) Re-release Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Military One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) The Kid from Texas, the 1950 Kurt Neumann outlaw cowboy western ("The true and savage story of Billy the Kid!"; "21 years old! 21 notches on his guns!"; "The true and savage story of the West's most notorious outlaw... who smiled like an angel and killed like devil incarnate!"; "Only one woman knew the tenderness of his arms") starring Audie Murphy (in the title role as Billy the Kid; "The sensation of 'Bad Boy'"), Gale Storm, Albert Dekker, Paul Ford, Shepperd Strudwick, and Will Geer NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is a military one-sheet. Military one-sheets were printed at the same time as the regular U.S. one-sheets when the movie was first released. They were made to be used on U.S. military installations. Sometimes the poster has small writing at the bottom that says "For Distribution and Use at U.S. Military Establishments Only", and sometimes they just have "Litho in U.S.A." in small letters in the lower right. This is one of the posters that says "Litho in U.S.A.". Condition: very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and minor wear on the foldlines. There were some tiny staple holes around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well!
