Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: poor to fair. The poster had tears and areas of paper loss on parts of several folds. Someone backed it onto linen and performed restoration to the tears and paper loss. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. However, either the person who backed the poster did not do it properly, or the poster was very roughly handled, because there are now many areas where the poster is "lifting" from the linen, and there are a few chips of paper loss from the poster (this is mostly in the middle vertical fold, but some on some other folds. There is also rippling in the bottom right corner, where the poster likely came into contact with moisture.
