A 1946 Re-release Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) The Kid Ranger, the 1936 Robert N. Bradbury cowboy western ("Pounding hoofs and whistling bullets as Bob Steele rides in defense of the law") starring Bob Steele, William Farnum, Joan Barclay, Earl Dwire, and Charles King NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this re-release is undated, but we have a huge database of litho numbers that we have recorded from posters we have sold, and comparing the litho number on this poster to those in our database tells us that this poster is almost certainly from 1946! Condition: good to very good. The poster had areas of paper loss down the vertical foldline, and some tears and small areas of paper loss on the other foldlines. There were creases, smudges, tears, and areas of paper loss around the edges of the poster. The person who did the restoration put new blank white paper over all the borders to even out the appearance (but the small writing at the bottom of the poster was not covered over). This is a common technique used by several top restorers. It is done so well that the majority of collectors are not even aware it has been done, and many do not feel it to be a significant detraction (since it is only blank white area). The restorer also painted over all of the solid white background behind the name "BOB STEELE" so it would match the borders. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking.
