The last man on earth... Or the last woman? Alive among the lifeless... Alone among the crawling creatures of evil that make the night hideous with their inhuman craving!"; "What Can She Want"; "Who can satisfy her... sooth that half-mad sob... that lustful giggle... that tortured scream of pain? The dead know and so does he. For he is... 'The Last Man on Earth'"; "She leaves her grave by night... Shambling thru streets whimpering for his blood!"; "...when lifeless hands reach out for the warmth of human flesh... where terror walks on tiptoe begging for the blood of..."; "...by night they leave their graves ...crawling, shambling thru empty streets... whimpering, pleading begging for his blood!"; "From the novel 'I Am Legend' by Richard Matheson") starring Vincent Price (in the title role as "The Last Man On Earth", Dr. Robert Morgan), Franca Bettoia, Emma Danieli, Giacomo Rossi-Stuart, and Umberto Raho NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Reynold Brown Important Added Info: Note that when this movie was released in 1964, AIP did not have very good international distribution, so they made a deal with 20th Century Fox to release the movie outside the U.S. There is a lobby set with AIP information at the bottom and a second lobby set with 20th Century Fox information at the bottom, and that 20th Century Fox set does not have NSS information (because other countries did not use it), but otherwise, the two sets are identical. The card offered here is from the international 20th Century-Fox set. Condition: very good. Note that the card has a very minor printing defect, which is a series of faint light pink and blue lines down the left edge of the left blank border. This was a very minor printing defect that occurred during the printing of these cards, and it is found on many 1950s and early 1960s lobby cards, and few collectors consider it much of a defect at all, because it is in the left edge of the blank border, has no effect on the image, and would likely be on all examples of this lobby card. There are some faint scuff marks in the solid background area, also typical of cards from this year (and also likely on all examples of this card). Otherwise, the card is in nice condition. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back! Learn More about condition grades
