Date Sold 7/1/2018 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. a lot of 1 English bound volume of ALL OF THE 1926 magazines from Picture Show ("The paper for people who go to the pictures"), an English movie entertainment magazine published in the 1920s to the 1950s (maybe other years as well), featuring many photos and articles of popular films and movie stars! Note that the magazine was initially called "Picture Show", but at some point around 1940 it was changed to "Picture Show & Film Pictorial" and that at some later point in the 1950s, its name changed to "Picture Show and TV Mirror" (when it added coverage of TV shows). If anyone knows more about this magazine, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Note that it is nice that the person who had this collection also had the supplements bound in as well (sometimes the supplements are not present with the magazines, but they are here!). Measurements: 9 1/2" x 12 1/4"Condition: good to very good. The magazines are in a bound volume (it was a very professional binding job!). They are generally in pretty good condition, but they were printed on newsprint, and they have darkened around the edges. I observed just a few pages that had clear tape repairs in the borders, including several pieces of tape on the cover of the very first issue in the volume.
