An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed Deluxe 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Richard Dix (born Ernest Carlton Brimmer) was an actor from the 1920s to the 1940s. He was a major star at Paramount in the 1920s and 1930s. Some of his movies include: Cimarron (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), The Vanishing American, Redskin, and The Ten Commandments. He passed away in 1949 at the age of 56. His son, Robert Dix, was an actor who was just 14 when his dad passed away, and Robert passed away in 2018 at the age of 83. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Richard Dix! Also note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock. Note that this item was consigned to us by a man who has been a major movie memorabilia dealer from the 1980s on. During that time, he would regularly purchase collections of movie memorabilia from both dealers and collectors, and in some of those collections he purchased autographed items. Both we and our consignor feel it is quite likely that the autograph on this item is authentic, but he does not have a certificate of authenticity. Condition: good. Learn More about condition grades
