Wellman courtroom lawyer legal witness intimidation murder melodrama ("The perfect picture with the perfect cast..."; "The greatest picture of the year!"; about a gangster who commits a murder in front of a "typical" family, and afterwards, none of the family members want to testify, except for the elderly grandfather who lives with them, who insists on doing his civic duty, no matter what the price) starring Walter Huston, Charles 'Chic' Sale, Dickie Moore (billed as "Dickey Moore"; the child star in an early role!), Grant Mitchell, Frances Starr, Ralph Ice, Sally Blane, and Robert Elliott. Note that Charles 'Chic' Slae was as much the star of this movie as Walter Huston, who played the District Attorney. Sale played the fearless grandfather, and he played variations on this role in many movies! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster. We have never auctioned one in all our years of auctioning! Not only that, but ANY Spanish posters from before World War II are beyond rare. This poster (and one other) comes from the same collection of pre-World War II Spanish movie posters that we auctioned last December and these are the last two such posters our consignor has! Note also that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: very good. The poster has darkened somewhat on the folds and the edges of the borders. Otherwise it has survived in really nice condition, especially considering its age! Learn More about condition grades
