An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" Movie Still (Learn More) Marnie, the 1964 Alfred Hitchcock romantic mystery kleptomaniac suspense thriller ("Only Alfred Hitchcock could have created so suspenseful a sex mystery!"; "Alfred Hitchcock's suspenseful sex mystery!"; "'You don't love me - I'm just some kind of wild animal you've trapped!'"; "'That's right, Marnie... I've caught you, and by heaven, I'm going to keep you!"; "Screenplay by Jay Presson Allen"; "From the Novel by Winston Graham"; about a man marrying a habitual thief in order to try and help her, but he also rapes her, and I'm not sure how that helps!) starring Tippi Hedren (in the title role as Marnie), Sean Connery, Diane Baker, Martin Gabel, and Louise Latham NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that a paper snipe was glued to the back of the still, and then folded over to the front. This was done rather than gluing the snipe to the back, so that the snipe could be unfolded and the still could be displayed with the snipe unfolded, which would let moviegoers read the information on the snipe in the lobby (and of course, the snipe would be folded backwards, so it would not show). This was done with many stills of the 1930s, but often, the snipes are either partially or completely lost, because it is easier for them to be torn off.
