NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Bob McCall Condition: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It was heavily water stained across the bottom border, extending irregularly into the bottom edge of the image by between 1/2" and 1". Portions of the tagline area and the bottom edge of the image were obliterated by the water staining, but some portions remained. The rest of the poster was in really nice condition prior to linenbacking, without any foldlines (because it was never folded, and because it was obtained in 1968 from the studio that designed the poster). The poster was expertly backed, and the missing small portions at the bottom of the artwork area were very carefully re-created, as were the missing areas of the bottom tagline. When the poster is displayed, the vast majority of those who view it will not realize that there was any restoration in the area described above. We have taken our digital image of this poster with a flash photo that accentuates the restoration along the bottom edge of the image, so people can better see exactly where the restoration was, but when the poster is viewed in normal light, the restoration does not stand out at all. The rest of the poster is in really excellent condition, and I can't imagine a collector who would not love to display this great poster on their wall! Learn More about condition grades
