Artist: Maurice Thomas Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned two examples of this Swedish poster, and those were the same poster, and that same poster has now been reconsigned to us, so this is still the only example of this poster we have ever auctioned! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had some tiny areas of paper loss in the bottom horizontal fold and a lesser amount of wear on the other folds. It had a small tear in the bottom right corner and very minor other border wear. There is a faint stain in the green background 3" to the left of stars' faces. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above.
