Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster was never folded. Overall, the poster was in very good to fine condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was well backed, but it appears someone trimmed the excess linen from the poster (no doubt so it could fit in a frame), and in doing so, they very slightly caused some paper loss in the upper right black border (see our image). One could easily touch this area up without re-backing the poster, or it would not show if the poster is framed.
