Date Sold 1/23/2022 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. a lot of 7 folded re-release Egyptian posters from the 2010s. We do not provide a list of these items, but there are images of all of them. Measurements: from 28" x 40" to 29" x 42"Note that we think it is extremely likely that these posters were created within the last 10 years (possibly in the last couple of years) for an Egyptian movie theater showing classic movies (perhaps they were created for a single showing, but we really don't know). We have been told that there were Egyptian film festivals in the 1990s that used posters like these, and that might well be true, but we believe these posters (and the other three lots of recent Egyptian re-releases we are currently auctioning) are much more recent than that (so maybe there continue to be film festivals to the present day). They were consigned to us from Egypt, but we know nothing more about their history except for what is written above, so please do not bid unless you can accept these uncertainties. Finally, note that prior to this set of auctions, we had been auctioning these posters individually, but, with our consignor's approval, we took the last ones he sent us and made them into five bulk lots, of which this is one, and this is the last time we will be auctioning these posters. Condition: good to very good. Some of the posters are in "very good" condition, but most have enough wear that they would qualify as "good to very good" or "good", with some in even lesser condition.
