An Unfolded German Advertising Poster (measures 47 1/4" x 66" [120 x 168 cm]) (Learn More) Baklanoff Meine Frau und Ich (literally translates to "Baklanoff My Wife and Me"), the 1932 German advertising poster promoting the purchase of a espionage book (about Soviety Russian spies in Germany) by Dr. Hans Buchner with illustrations by Beobachter. Note that this poster features art of a man and woman embracing with a threatening surreal Soviet monster in the background. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this advertising poster was printed in 2 sections designed to overlap. Condition: good to very good. The poster has a strip of plastic with holes attached to the back of the left border of each section (no doubt this was done as a way of hanging this poster with others on racks, and being able to easily access any of them). The plastic strip could be removed by a professional or talented amateur, or of course, the excess plastic could simply be trimmed off. Both sections were once lightly tri-folded, but they have been stored rolled for a long time, and the folds have mostly vanished. There are some tape stains in the bottom border of the top section. There is a 2" tear on the back of the upper right blank border that has tape on the back, and some small tears in the bottom border of the bottom section.
