De Sylva"; "Music and Lyrics by Irving Berlin"; "From a story by B.G. De Sylva"; about a naive man who is picked by corrupt Louisiana politicians to take the fall for crimes they've committed) starring Bob Hope, Vera Zorina, Victor Moore, Irene Bordoni, Dona Drake, Raymond Walburn, and "Those Louisiana Lovelies - The Cream of the Crop!" (referred to as "The 13 Louisiana Belles" in other publicity). Note that Paramount was afraid of lawsuits from real life Louisiana politicians, so they made significant changes from the Broadway play the movie was based on, and they even had many references in the movie to the fact that the "Louisiana" referred to was a mythical place, and not the actual Louisiana! Many studios spent extra money to have their most special photos, the key book stills, either backed with linen or printed on a heavy paper, both of which enhanced their durability. They had an extra 1" at the left or top, with punch holes, because of how they were stored. Key book stills are far more rare than regular stills, which has increased their popularity among collectors, since only a few keybooks were manufactured per film, and a key book still is guaranteed to be authentic.
