Original Vintage Theatrical 4" x 8" Movie Still (Learn More) Alfred Hitchcock is perhaps the most famous English director of all-time, directing many groundbreaking and classic movies from 1921 to 1976. He would often appear briefly in his own movies as a gag. Some of his movies include: Rear Window (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film), North By Northwest, Psycho (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film), Vertigo, Strangers on a Train, Notorious, Rebecca (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film), Shadow of a Doubt, The 39 Steps, The Lady Vanishes, The Birds, Dial M for Murder, Lifeboat (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film), Spellbound, The Man Who Knew Too Much (he made this one TWICE!), The Trouble with Harry, and many, many more! He passed away in 1980 at the age of 80. Important Added Info: Note that this still measures 4" x 8". Please do not bid on this still thinking it is 8" x 10". Also note that it is stamped "National Film Archive" on the back. Condition: very good. We are selling thousands of stills this week, and we can't give detailed descriptions of every one.
