Date Sold 7/27/2014 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. 3 Original 1968 Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Stills (Learn More) The Vengeance of Fu Manchu, the 1967 (released in the U.S. in 1968) Jeremy Summers English/Irish/German/Hong Kong action adventure crime horror thriller ("There is no vengeance on Earth like The Vengeance of Fu Manchu"; "Based on the books and characters created by Sax Rohmer") starring Christopher Lee (in the title role as Dr. Fu Manchu), Horst Franck, Maria Rohm, Wolfgang Kieling, Suzanne Roquette, Peter Carsten, Douglas Wilmer, Tsai Chin, Noel Trevarthen, Howard Marion Crawford, and Tony Ferrer NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that these stills appear in every way to be original U.S. release EXCEPT that there is one very tiny line of French type in the lower right of each still. It reads, "IMPRIME AUX ETATS-UNIS D'AMERIQUE". A collector has told us that he believes this means the stills were printed for use in areas that included French-speaking parts of Canada, but that they WERE printed in the U.S., and that makes complete sense to us! So they are original stills from 1967, but they were printed partially for use in French-speaking Canada. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
