Date Sold 8/28/2018Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Autographed 3 1/2" x 5" [9 x 13 cm] Cut Album Page (Learn More) Art Carney was an actor from the 1940s to the 1990s. He was a man of many talents, including being an excellent impressionist and mimic, and also a talented caricaturist. While he is best remembered for playing Ed Norton the sewer worker on TV's "The Honeymooners", he was already, at that time, a very successful TV actor (and an extremely intelligent man, nothing like the Ed Norton character he played), who, after The Honeymooners, went on to a successful film career. Some of his movies include: Harry & Tonto (winner of the Best Actor Academy Award for this film; in the title role as Harry), A Guide For The Married Man, Going in Style, and The Late Show. He passed away in 2003 at the age of 85. Important Added Info: This cut album page has been personally autographed (signed) by Art Carney! It could be matted with a vintage or repro still and framed together to make a cool display! Our consignor is a very longtime collector of movie paper who purchased this item years ago, and it was signed, but he doesn't know how the signature was obtained, and he (and we) believe it is likely that the autograph is authentic. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes. Condition: good.
