An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Three-Sheet Movie Poster (3sh; measures 41" x 81") (Learn More) The Power and the Prize, the 1956 Henry Koster post-World War II (WWII) romantic melodrama ("Challenging Drama of Today's Changing Morals"; "Based on the Book by Howard Swiggett"; about an American executive working in England, and he wants to marry a European war refugee, and his business associates tell him he will ruin his future with the firm, but he doesn't care) starring Robert Taylor, Burl Ives, Charles Coburn, Sir Cedric Hardwicke, Mary Astor, Richard Deacon, and Elisabeth Mueller (billed as "Introducing Elisabeth Mueller"). Note that Elisabeth Mueller was a Swiss actress who rose to prominence in a role in 1954's "Afraid to Love". She was next cast in this movie after original choice Maria Schell dropped out, but after this, prominent roles became scarcer, and after 1959, she returned to the stage and never made another movie.
