An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Three-Sheet Stage Play Poster (3sh; measures 41 1/4" x 82 3/4" [105 x 210 cm]) (Learn More) Dracula, the 1977 - 1980 Dennis Rosa horror melodrama stage play production (based on the book by Bram Stoker) starring Frank Langella (in the title role as Count Dracula), Raul Julia (who replaced Frank Langella in the title role as Dracula), Alan Coates, Jerome Dempsey (as Van Helsing), Dillon Evans, Baxter Harris, Richard Kavanaugh, Gretchen Oehler, and Ann Sachs. Note that famed illustrator Edward Gorey did the scenery and costume designs for this stage play and that it was billed as "The Edward Gorey Production". Also note that Frank Langella would later go on to reprise his role in the 1979 movie "Dracula"! Artist: Edward Gorey Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had minor wear on the foldlines. It had much light scuffing scattered in the lower white background areas. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above.
