Eleanor Roosevelt was a political figure, activist, and diplomat from the 1920s to the 1960s. She was of course married to President Franklin Delano Roosevelt,and First Lady of the United States from 1933 to 1945. She was the first "First Lady" to take an active role in politics and appear publicly on a regular basis, and she continued it after her husband's unfortunate passing in 1945, and became an international author, speaker, politician, and activist. Roosevelt passed away in 1962 at the age of 78.

Important Added Info: Note that this still measures 6 3/4" x 8 1/2" [17 x 22 cm], but it has not been trimmed.
