The man in black is waiting..."; "It's the second motion picture of its kind! It won't be the last!"; "The man with no name is back! The man in black is waiting... A walking arsenal - he uncoils, strikes and kills!") starring Clint Eastwood (as Monco), Lee Van Cleef (as Col. Mortimer), Gian Maria Volonte, Mara Krupp (billed as "Mara Krup"), Luigi Pistilli, Klaus Kinski (as Juan Wild, the Hunchback), Joseph Egger (billed as "Josef Egger"), Panos Papadopulos, Benito Steffanelli, Roberto Camardiel, Aldo Sambrell, Luis Rodriguez, and Mario Brega. Note that this movie was released in December of 1965 (no doubt to qualify for awards), but most of the Italian posters from the first release are dated 1966. Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned one example of this 1965 first release Italian one-panel, which is a "country of origin" poster for this partially Italian movie, and that example was in only "good" condition, and it sold for $1,000! 24 years ago, we also auctioned a first release Italian two-panel poster (for $4,255), and we have auctioned several first release locandinas and photobustas, but this is only the second time we have auctioned this poster! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had tears and small paper loss scattered down the vertical fold, with a lesser amount on the horizontal folds. It had some tears and small paper loss around the edges.
